Primary Care

Establishing primary care with a provider has many benefits in your day-to-day life.

From your physical health to your mental health, a primary care provider will act as your partner and help you stay healthy.

By keeping regular, routine checkups your overall health and lifestyle will improve. Primary care providers will help you make informed decisions regarding your health by conducting screening tests, treating random problems that occur, and helping you manage any long-term issues such as hypertension or diabetes.

In addition, you will also gain insight on how to make better daily decisions regarding your diet, lifestyle, and managing stress.

Primary Care Services

New Patient Appointments

Are you a first-time visitor? Since new patient appointments may not always be available on the same day or at certain times, it’s important to establish care with a physician before an illness occurs. During your initial visit, your provider will review all of your medications, including over-the-counter medications, vitamins, and supplements.

Physicals and Examinations

Physical examinations allow you to discuss your medical history, health screenings that are appropriate for your age, vaccinations, and healthy lifestyle choices with your health care provider. In addition, they help you get to know your doctor better. Depending on the age, medical history, or sex, you may need different tests. For instance, women may breast exams or a pap smear every year. Similarly, men may also need certain exams at certain stages of their lives as well.

Referrals to a specialist

Sometimes, you may need more care than we can provide. In some cases, a referral to a specialist may be necessary. If you want to make an appointment with a specialist, please contact your insurance carrier, and remember it may take a few days for a referral to be approved. Most specialist visits require an appointment at our office within a specific timeframe.

Routine Office Visits

Routine office visits are conducted on a 6-month or yearly basis. Patients who take regular medications or have chronic medical issues need routine office visits to renew prescriptions, evaluate how they’re responding to treatment, and have routine monitoring tests performed if necessary. In addition, we can discuss any lifestyle or diet changes and review your overall medical process.
