Pediatric Care

Our pediatric team focuses on the health of children from infancy to young adulthood, including their physical, mental, and social development. From preventive health care to diagnosis and treatment of acute and chronic conditions, pediatric care covers a wide range of health services.

At Family Care Clinic, we have a commitment to offering affordable, accessible healthcare for children and families. Our services include wellness visits and immunizations along with treatment of common colds, sore throats, flu, and minor injuries.

Parenting is not a solo endeavor and medical providers are needed for primary care. While many can treat and manage minor cuts, coughs, and colds, what about more complicated illnesses, injuries, and infections? This is where Family Care Clinic can help.  Knowing you can turn to a well-trained, trusted provider when they suffer everyday illnesses and injuries removes much of the stress.

Pediatric Care Services

Newborn/Well-Child

From immunization schedules to behavioral changes, we provide newborn exams and other tests as to life transitions and changes with a newborn. In addition, our well-child exams will help you assess your child’s growth and development through different screening tests and wellness visits

School Physicals

From kindergarten to college, there are many times your child will need physical or other routine screenings. Within schools, there are also many germs and illnesses that cycle through classrooms from season to season. With this in mind, staying on schedule with physicals, tests and seasonal vaccinations is essential.

Sports Physicals

Sports can be a pastime or a way of life for many families. Throughout each grade level and sport, requirements for physicals may differ. So staying on top of the requirements will help your child discover any pre-existing conditions and keep them healthy so they can stay off the sidelines.

Immunizations

Vaccines can help prevent diseases and illnesses and there is a specific schedule for children to follow. At Family Care Clinic, we are a VFC (Vaccines for Children) supplier and have vaccines available for all pediatric patients and insurance types.

Whereas, Family Care Wellness will serve as the location for our primary care patients. Current patients will continue to see their providers at our new facility, located on Oak Park.
